Alive – Privacy Policy

Alive respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Alive app (“the App”) handles information when you use it.

In short: No account is required. The App does not track you in the background. Location is shared only when you choose to use Help Now.

Overview

Alive is designed to work with minimal data and maximum respect for your privacy. The App does not require an account, does not sell your data, and does not share your personal data with advertisers.

Information You Provide

Alive stores the following information locally on your device (not on our servers):

This information is used only to provide the core functionality of the App.

Location Data

Alive accesses your location only when you explicitly tap “Help Now.”

If location access is unavailable or denied, the App will still allow you to send a help email without location information.

Email Communication

When you use features such as missed check-in alerts or “Help Now”:

Alive does not store copies of sent emails.

Crash Reporting

Alive may use crash reporting tools (such as Firebase Crashlytics) to help improve app stability.

Data Storage

Data Sharing

Alive does not sell personal data and does not share personal data with advertisers. Data is shared only when you explicitly choose to contact your emergency contact.

Children’s Privacy

Alive is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
